The Raceday Stewards reviewed the riders' first approach to the starter. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr J.L. Gleeson, rider of Pat O's Rock, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he had not looked around and he could not hear due to the wind and the rain. He added that he gave his mount three strikes to keep her up to her work. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards gave Mr J. L

Gleeson the benefit of the doubt on this occasion and took no further action.

Weights - 4-y-o 11st 9lbs 5-y-o and up 11st 11lbs.
