I'd say the little bit of softness in the ground helps her now. She gets her toes into it. She had a few little short runs there lately and I'd say it was the ground that caught her a bit. She likes this place too I think. Likes Kilbeggan, a bit like myself. If the ground gets heavy she probably won't be doing any more. She's paying her way. The Raceday Stewards interviewed Conor Clarke, rider of Larkins Lane, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Conor Clarke was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g (excessive frequency) and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended Conor Clarke for two racedays.
