Permission was given for Athena's Fortune (IRE) to be mounted in the chute and for Due Destiny (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
The Stewards considered the unruly behaviour of Athena's Fortune (IRE) which had reared up and got loose, and galloped riderless for a sustained period of time, before being withdrawn.
As the filly had also unseated the rider and galloped loose, before subsequently being withdrawn at Chelmsford City on 01 June 2025.
Stuart Williams was informed that any future similar behaviour from Athena's Fortune (IRE) may result in the horse being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
Following the race, William Cox reported that Due Destiny (GB), unplaced, stumbled leaving the stalls and Joanna Mason reported that Gaia Tina (IRE), placed third, ran too free.
