Permission was given for Triumph Of Peace (GB) to wear a red hood, go early to post and be mounted in the chute.
Permission was also given for Ghaihaban (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held into the start of this race and the participation of Triumph Of Peace (GB), drawn 2, ridden by Adam Farragher.
The rider and the Starter were interviewed and shown recordings of the start.
As the filly had reared and thrown Farragher out of the saddle prior to the starting mechanism being released and then galloped loose, the Stewards ordered that the filly was therefore prevented from starting on equal terms and ordered that Triumph Of Peace (GB) be declared a non-runner.
The Starter reported that Triumph Of Peace (GB) was unruly in the stalls.
William Haggas was informed that the filly could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 2 furlongs out when the winner Moonspirit (GB), ridden by Daniel Muscutt interfered with Ashtanga (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Joey Haynes.
Muscutt was cautioned for careless riding as he was slow to correct his mount from drifting right-handed, resulting in Haynes having to take a check.
Approaching 1 furlong out, the winner Moonspirit (GB) hung right-handed moving Ghaihaban (GB), placed third, off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Moonspirit (GB).
Following the race, Joey Haynes reported that Ashtanga (GB), placed fourth, suffered interference approximately 2 furlongs out.
