An enquiry was held to consider interference just inside the final furlong involving the winner, Street Life (GB), ridden by Paddy Bradley, Wedgewood (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Marco Ghiani and Fishermans Cottage (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Charlie Bennett.
The Stewards deemed the interference to be accidental, as Street Life (GB) shifted quickly right-handed and in doing so took Wedgewood (GB) slightly off its intended line, resulting in Fishermans Cottage (GB) becoming short for room on the rail.
Following the race, Gina Mangan reported that Darkened Edge (GB), placed third, was denied a clear run inside the final furlong and Paddy Bradley reported that the winner, Street Life (GB), hung right-handed inside the final furlong.
