Permission was given for Savannah Smiles (IRE) be mounted in the chute and go early to post wearing a red hood; for Pearl's Edge (GB) to go early to post and wear a hood in the Parade Ring only; for Over Spiced (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference, both approaching the final furlong and inside the final furlong involving, the winner, Zoulu Warrior (IRE), ridden by Saffie Osborne, Pearl's Edge (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Gina Mangan and Savannah Smiles (IRE), placed second, ridden by Callum Hutchinson, beaten by a neck margin.
The Stewards found that in the first incident Zoulu Warrior (IRE) had edged marginally right-handed away from the whip, briefly crowding Savannah Smiles (IRE) for racing room.
They further found that in the second incident Hutchinson on Savannah Smiles (IRE) was checked in his run for a number of strides, due to receiving pressure from both sides as Pearl's Edge (GB) had lugged left-handed, at the same time as Zoulu Warrior (IRE) edged right-handed.
Both incidents of interference were considered to be accidental and the Stewards ordered the placings to remain unaltered, as the interference the winner was solely responsible for causing to the second placed runner, was minimal in nature and occurred outside the furlong marker, with the official margin being a Neck.
Following the race, Gina Mangan reported that Pearl's Edge (GB), placed fourth, hung both ways; Callum Hutchinson reported that Savannah Smiles (IRE), placed second, was slow away.
