Playtime (GB) was withdrawn by the Stewards at 4:29pm as it became loose at the post and galloped loose before colliding with the rail.
Paddy Bradley, the rider of Card Shark (IRE), was unseated when rounding the bend.
Bradley was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
It was found that no other horse or rider was involved in the incident and was caused by the gelding as it changed its leading leg when losing its back end which resulted in the Jockey being unseated.
