Approximately one furlong out, Mr Nugget (GB), placed fourth, hung right-handed away from the whip, before being quickly corrected by its rider, making light contact with Berkshire Phantom (IRE), placed third, which was moved off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Gina Mangan reported that Rose Light (GB), unplaced, ran too free.
