The Raceday Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages of this race involving Lemmy Caution (FR), ridden by S. Ewing, placed first, and The Rebel Fox, ridden by K.M. Donoghue, placed second, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. Ewing stated that he was clear and felt he had caused no interference. K.M. Donoghue stated that his mount was crossed in the closing stage and he felt it had cost him a place. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that while Lemmy Caution had caused minor interference to The Rebel Fox he did not improve his finishing position as a result of this interference so they made no alteration to the Judge’s placings and took no further action

M.P. O'Connor, rider of Quest For Answers, trained by M.F.Morris, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly
K.M. Donoghue, rider of The Rebel Fox, trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was crossed coming to the line.
