Permission was given for Jewel Of London (GB) and Speed Of Maajid (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
The winner, Cressida Wildes (GB) appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Newmarket on 27 June 2025, where the filly finished last of seven runners, beaten 8 ¼ lengths.
Phil McEntee’s explanation that the filly benefitted from what he believed to be a drop in class on this occasion was noted.
Cressida Wildes (GB) was routine tested.
An enquiry was held to consider interference just inside two furlongs out, involving Juno Star (IRE), placed third, ridden by Ashley Lewis and the winner Cressida Wildes (GB), ridden by Connor Planas.
Being a 7lb claimer, Lewis was accompanied by a senior rider.
Lewis was cautioned for careless riding as when improving his position, gave a bump to and briefly unbalanced Cressida Wildes (GB).
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that the winner, Cressida Wildes (GB), had bled from the nose.
