An enquiry was held to consider interference on the first bend when Circus Maximus (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Donnacha O’Brien, interfered with Crystal Ocean (GB), placed second, ridden by James Doyle.
O’Brien was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left towards the rail when not sufficiently clear, causing Doyle to take a slight check.
Following the race, Jim Crowley reported that Elarqam (GB), placed third, was denied a clear run in the final furlong.
