Upon leaving the stalls Roserunner (GB), placed fifth, jumped markedly left-handed taking both Wind Summer (IRE), unplaced, and Musical Soldier (IRE), unplaced, off their intended lines.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Roserunner (GB).
The winner Hamaleel (GB), appeared to show an improvement in form compared with its previous run at Wolverhampton on 4 October 2025, where the filly finished sixth of eight runners beaten by 10 1/4 lengths.
The explanation given by the representative of Archie Watson that the filly had benefited from a 116 days break, was noted.
Hamaleel (GB) was routine tested.
The performance of Musical Soldier (IRE) which finished sixth of seven runners beaten by 9¼ lengths, was considered.
It was noted that Ollie Sangster could offer no explanation for gelding’s performance other than the rider reported that Musical Soldier (IRE) had no more to give.
