Permission was given for both Candy (GB) and Electrolyte (IRE) to wear a red hood to the start.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final ½ furlong involving the winner, Big Mojo (IRE), ridden by Tom Marquand and Ain't Nobody (IRE), placed third, ridden by Tom Eaves.
The interference was found to be accidental as Big Mojo hung left-handed despite the best efforts of Marquand causing AIN’T NOBODY (IRE) to be taken off its intended racing line.
The performance of Electrolyte (IRE) which started second-favourite and finished unplaced, was considered.
The representative of Archie Watson could offer no explanation for the colt’s performance.
