An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 2 furlongs out when Whatsgoingonmarvin (IRE), placed third, ridden by Shane Kelly interfered with Earnest Belief (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Robert Havlin.
Kelly was cautioned for careless riding as he moved his mount left-handed when insufficiently clear of Havlin causing him to take a slight check.
Inside the final furlong, Valiancy (IRE), placed second, shifted left-handed away from the whip before being corrected by the rider moving Whatsgoingonmarvin (IRE), placed third, off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Valiancy (IRE).
