Very consistent. It took a long time for him to win the maiden, but we kept him lightly raced, kept him sweet, and I think that has been the key to him. He had a breathing operation last April, so it has just taken a bit of time to get the confidence back into the horse. He has been a revelation there this winter, holding his form really well. Delighted for John Kirkland and his wife Jeanette, and also Jim and Geraldine Ryan who have been great supporters of me so far, they have a couple of nice horses with me. I'm just delighted this horse is flying the flag for the winter months. We will look for something similar next. It worked out very well, we couldn’t have thought it any better!. Ground is a big thing for him, he takes a few runs and the cheekpieces were back on - I’m delighted. He’s probably a little bit better than this grade, but it’s just the way it fell. Every time we ran, we were hoping the rain was coming, but it never came. James gave him a great ride. It’s my Dad’s (Paul) syndicate (Urban & Rural Boys Syndicate). He was sick last year and this horse boosted him up no end. They’ve had this syndicate since Molly’s Boy 20 years ago.
