That was great. It was a bit of a tactical race. They didn’t go over fast and she was a bit keen with him. He (Lordan) said he wasn’t too sure if she was comfortable being pinned on the rail - she’s a very small filly, but she’s as tough as anything. He said he was always comfortable, although he looked under pressure. He felt they weren’t getting away on him and that he’d be able to get one run. She just does what she has to do when she hits the front, so it was ideal the way it panned out for her. She’s a great filly. I put her in the Scurry in the off chance it would come up good, but they probably need rain there. This track does the best job of watering of any track in the country. The ground is a credit to them.

I thought the ground was going to be a bit too lively for him, but he just about got away with it. We'll maybe go back to the Curragh next week. There's a couple of races there that might suit him. There's a six and a seven (furlongs). We might go back there. We'll see what the handicapper does with him. He's well capable. He's a fairly good horse on his day. Adam gave him a lovely ride. We had a lovely draw and, then he dropped him right in and, he was very patient on him. He got a lovely split up now, but it was a very good ride there tonight. Thanks be to God he got his head in front for the lads. We'll look at the Curragh next weekend and see. Hopefully he'll be alright.

He was very good on him. He doesn't usually back up his races and I took a chance after the other day in Listowel. Fair play to Ronny (Whelan), he didn't abuse him the other day after his chance was gone. He didn't have a hard race and came home and grubbed up well. That was a big factor to running him again. . He never runs a bad race here, it was probably my mistake going to Listowel. It's worked out now so it's not too bad. . He's been a bit unlucky and hasn't won in a few years, since we bought him. He's been second in a Galway Mile and in three or four good premier handicaps. . He's a very good horse in those big handicaps when they go fast. They went good and fast today, he hit a bit of a flat spot in the middle but he stays galloping. . He's well handicapped if we can get another pot somewhere. There is a race on the last day of the year at Leopardstown but he doesn't want it very soft either.

Glitter And Glory has been a model of consistency and, probably, her only bad run last year was in the Goffs Million which was on heavy ground. She has been so good up here and is just doing things right now. Seven furlongs is really her trip. She wants good ground and hasn't had a recent break, so I think if we get a bit of nice weather now we will give her 10 days in the field and bring her back for Irish Guineas weekend for a fillies' handicap. We said all last year that all the Lucky Vega's do is keep improving from two to three (years) and I think he is a sire that is going to have a very big season this year. It is great for the girls (Glamour & Glory Syndicate) to have a winner and this is our second runner of the new season, so it is nice to have a guide.
