The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the bend shortly after jumping the third last involving Head For Home, ridden by Phillip Enright, unplaced, and Rebelle Chaud, ridden by Shane O'Callaghan, unplaced, where it appeared Head For Home had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Phillip Enright stated that it got tight for a stride after Rebelle Chaud rolled in. Shane O'Callaghan stated that his mount rolled in a small bit on the point of the bend despite his best efforts. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action other than to remind Shane O'Callaghan to ride with more awareness in future.
