He has just kept improving all year and I don't know why. He's a lovely little horse and some attitude, so he has. . If he gets in, he will probably take his chance. . He has been an unbelievable horse for us all. . He has a serious pedigree, but as an individual he wasn't much to look at. I remember when he came to the yard one day, the fella took him out of the box and one of the lads said 'what is he by?' He says 'by Kalanisi' and the lad said to put him back in the box and take him with him! I remember the next morning, when I saw him, I was inclined toagree with him as well! . It is what is under the bonnet that counts. It is just unbelievable. . He was third in the big one at Galway(GPT) and then second on the Sunday and he didn't run his race on Sunday because he never travelled. I thought he was going to be tailed off and the next thing he finished second. Whatever it was, the ground being dead, but he just never travelled. . Eoghan rode as an amateur for us and he won on him as an amateur in Punchestown. I thought with the size of him (Ragmans Corner) the 7lb off would help. The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after jumping the second last involving Kazakh D'arthel (FR), ridden by Conor Stone-Walsh, placed fourth, Lady Doyanne, ridden by Darragh O'Keeffe, unplaced, and Quint Major, ridden by Danny Gilligan, unplaced, where it appeared interference had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Danny Gilligan stated that he kept a straight line and received pressure from his outside. Conor Stone-Walsh stated that he was in the gap when he received pressure. Darragh O'Keeffe stated that he maintained his line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Conor Stone-Walsh was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.

An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards (120 = 11st 12lbs)
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 7lb extra for each hurdle race won.
