G.M. Ryan, rider of Comanche Brave, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a little bump at the two furlong pole
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Officer, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at the two furlong pole involving Comanche Brave, ridden by G.M. Ryan, Field Of Gold, ridden by C.T. Keane and Officer, ridden by R.L. Moore where it appeared interference occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. G.M. Ryan stated that as the winner passed him he drifted slightly right which caused his mount to lean on Officer. R.L. Moore stated that he felt slight pressure from his left. C.T. Keane stated that as he passed the horses on his inside his mount leaned slightly right. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.
