The Raceday Stewards granted a request from S.P Davis, trainer of Venetian, for an additional 10 minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Veterinary Officer as required under Rule 90(i)
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Jessica O'Gorman, rider of La Tulipe Noire, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that it was a misjudgement on her behalf. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that, Jessica O' Gorman, was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered her clean record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards suspended her for two racedays
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Super Over, trained by C.Byrnes, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
