The son of Camelot got the better of a tight finish with Tiger Tap Tap on his jumping debut at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting, and showed the benefit of that experience when impressing back at the same venue in the Dublin Racing Festival. He’s had a late injury scare with a stone bruise but presumably connections will not let him run unless one hundred per cent happy. Stablemate Gardens Of Babylon, who is now fitted with cheek-pieces, was six lengths back in second in that Grade 1 event with Tiger Tap Tap further adrift. The latter didn’t enjoy a clear passage at a crucial stage off the home turn, and Willie Mullins subsequently revealed that he may have gone a bit easy on his charge after the run at Christmas. Quel Destin looks the pick of the home challenge and will certainly not lack for experience.
