Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - With big contenders here rated 77, 79, 77 and 78 it's pretty tight according to the assessor. The horses in possession of those official marks, Elleval, Rapid Approach, Toccata Blue and Tylery Wonder all went close at this venue lately but you'd imagine they're much of a muchness at this stage. In Our Blood and Regal Concorde are possibly the most interesting of the newcomers and they're worth watching in the betting. Global Icon would definitely be noteworthy were he to get a run as first reserve. The three that are guaranteed a run that we'll focus on are MIRAAJ, Elusive Ice and Senyuman. All three are promising after one outing to date but Miraaj has fared best with the draw. He headed the market for a Newmarket maiden when with Richard Hannon in October and he performed satisfactorily when finishing seventh. A half-brother to winners such as Bolodenka, hopefully the market will give positive signals for Miraaj here.
