Formscan By Alan Magee - GLAMORGAN DUKE gained his only career win in the valuable Leopardstown Handicap Chase back in 2020. The Flemensfirth gelding is very lightly raced since but ran a cracker in this year’s renewal at the Dublin Racing Festival when beating all bar The Goffer in a highly competitive 23-runner 2m5f event. He was let down by some jumping errors when failing to complete on both outings since but this represents a drop in class. Darver Star, third to Epatante in the 2020 Champion Hurdle, was a top class hurdler and, after losing his way over fences, returned to form completing a hurdle hat-trick last autumn. It will be interesting to see how he copes on his first run over fences in 15 months. Impact Factor has been absent for well over two years while the handicapper seems to be catching up with Big Debates.
