Formscan By Alan Magee - BIRDIE BLITZ appreciated the step up to this trip when scoring over hurdles at Ballinrobe last spring and looks a progressive sort judged on her easy win at Punchestown last time. The Aidan Howard-trained mare is rated 113 over hurdles and now switches to fences off a very attractive mark. Trickey Trix beat Made In The Woods over 2m7f at Clonmel earlier this month and actually reopposes on better terms as the runner-up subsequently won at Limerick with Mahler Appeal about 15 lengths back in third. That form received a boost last weekend when the progressive Happy Dreams won again.
