The Milan gelding had shown a bit in some strong maiden hurdles before a good run to chase home Ujumpthelastuwin at Wexford back in March. The handicapper has him on a mark of 113 and if he runs near that it should be good enough to get his head in front. Rian Thomas was headed and looked like weakening when unseating here last time. He had run a solid race in Sligo previously when chasing home Nero Rock and is entitled to be thereabouts again on that form. If first reserve Fakir D'alene gets in here he could be a big player. The French-bred was a %A3160,000 purchase after winning his point-to-point but was a bit disappointing on his 'track' debut in a Navan bumper. Going over jumps now he could be a different proposition.
