Formscan By Tom Weekes - STELLA ALPINA tries this distance for the first time but has strong form claims. Related to plenty winners, she was a runner-up on three of six runs this year and while she has been frustrating to follow and now drops a furlong in distance, is suited by a sound surface and has plenty pace. Four-year-old Viamonte is very much proven at this distance and while sure to run his usual consistent race on suitably good ground, is vulnerable to a more capable type. Quatrain, who is declared to run in a Sligo claimer on Wednesday, has been frustrating and would drop hugely in distance were she to race today.
