Formscan By Tom Weekes - NO ALIBI has progressed nicely in three career runs and, being well-bred, is open to more improvement. A half-sister to her yard’s Group 3-winning sprinter Treasure Trove, the selection tries a longer distance today but her dam notably scored at this trip as a juvenile. She meets more experienced rivals but should progress further. Empress Artemis holds obvious claims being very much proven in handicaps over similar distances, although is 2lb higher than in her most recent start, when she was also ridden by a 7lb claimer. In-form sablemate Mallavalley should also compete but races from a career high mark while Shelbiana has shown solid form over a similar distance recently.
