Formscan By Alan Magee - JOYEUX VIVO appeared not to stay 2m4f at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting and should appreciate this drop back to two miles on his handicap debut. The John Kiely-trained gelding was placed on his only bumper start at the Punchestown Festival last spring and beat all bar the impressive Beckett Rock on testing ground at Gowran in November. Ricky Bobby had Mcgrath From Clune about three lengths behind when runner-up at Cork last month, although the Robert Tyner-trained gelding can’t be discounted having made a mistake at the last. Woodstream Lad is another to consider after beating all bar Ataboycharlie in a 23-runner novice handicap over this trip at Leopardstown, while Morricone has shaped well twice here since joining Ray Hackett this season.
