Formscan By Michael Graham - This trip holds no fears for DANNY THE FENCE who stayed on well to prevail in Fairyhouse three runs back. He wasn't beaten far into fifth in a much-higher grade on his last start. His trainer, Karl Thornton, has saddled two winners from his last five runners. Buachaillbocht ran in snatches when a beaten favourite in third at Tramore, but still appears to be one of the more likely contenders in this contest. On his previous visit to Tramore, he obliged over 2m5f which bodes well for this first crack at an extended 2m7f. The veteran Glenabo Bridge showed that the fires still run deep when he rallied for victory at Fairyhouse in November. A 5lb rise in the weights shouldn't prevent him from putting up another bold bid. Yabo was in the process of picking up plenty of prize money over fences before falling in two of her last three outings. You can see the reasoning in the switch to hurdles, but she may be best watched on her return to action after more than 11 months off.
