Formscan By Michael Graham - TACHOS is of interest on her third start. Dermot Weld's filly finished fourth on her second outing at Gowran Park behind a winner who followed up in a Curragh nursery. Tachos is by a sire whose progeny are showing a real aptitude for rain-softened ground. There are a couple of dangerous newcomers in the field. Jessica Harrington's Magical Bay is a half-sister to a deep-ground winner while Joseph O'Brien's Starspangledbanner filly Sluice has to be respected. Both should be monitored for market strength. Cornahilt Soldier was runner-up on fast ground over course and distance this month, but these conditions will be very different. Jim Bolger sends Lavender Haze up for her debut and his stable has been among the winners in Down Royal recently.
