Formscan By Alan Magee - RONAVA bolted up with cut in the ground over this trip at Wexford in July, and ran well off an 11lb higher mark on faster ground when upped in trip at Killarney. He only weakened at the last when reappearing at Gowran earlier this month, and should appreciate the drop back to two miles. Following 16 outings without success, Pleased As Punch has now won two of her last four and coped well with softer ground when runner-up again over two miles at Tramore last time. That defeat came at the hands of hat-trick seeking Daigreen, and there should be little between the pair again. Ebazan was on a mark of 122 after winning a maiden hurdle at Ballinrobe last year but has taken a real tumble in the ratings since. It may be folly to try and make a case for the five-year-old but it is his first outing over the trip since June and the yard did enjoy a welcome winner this month.
