Formscan By Mark Nunan - Having been with Joseph O'Brien and Gordon Elliott, SLIGE DALA is now under the care of Pat Foley and caught the eye when staying on well to be fifth over hurdles here earlier this month. Although his most recent chasing efforts have been poor, the bumper and hurdles winner did show ability in his first couple of starts in this discipline and a pair of cheekpieces might sharpen him up. Junior Rattler, second over hurdles at Sligo last time, was narrowly beaten on his most recent start over fences at Kilbeggan and has been giving the impression that this step up in trip will suit well. Takarengo, who twice ran well at Galway, is anything but a fluent jumper of hurdles but has been placed in three of his four outings over fences. He's a quirky sort but should be coming home well over this distance.
