Formscan By Mark Nunan - BABY KATE is the latest interesting bumper newcomer to roll off the Mullins conveyor belt and the daughter of Champs Elysees is likely to take plenty of beating. She's out of Augusta Kate who was unbeaten in three bumpers before going on to do well in staying hurdles and her grandam Feathard Lady was unbeaten in both bumpers before winning a Grade 1 over hurdles. Lady Masquerade made a pleasing debut when third in a maiden hurdle at Limerick last month. She's from a good family herself and has every chance of again being in the money. Smiling Bess is out of a smart dual-purpose mare and attracted market support when a promising third at Roscommon earlier this month.
