Formscan By Michael Graham - Gordon Elliott was quoted as saying that DEE CAPO "might be a very nice horse" after he ran away with a Galway bumper, so he is one to take seriously on his hurdle debut. That winning run on testing ground will stand him in good stead as the going in Wexford is likely to be very deep. Poets Cottage was far from outclassed in maiden hurdles won by very useful sorts in Navan and Cork last winter, so he enters the equation. Maxi Mac Gold attracted plenty of support before finishing fourth on debut in a bumper at Thurles in March. His trainer, Paul Nolan, and jockey, Sean Flanagan, teamed up for a maiden hurdle success at Galway on Saturday. Second-reserve The Passing Wife is a point-to-point winner to note.
