Formscan By Michael Graham - Very little meaningful recent form to consider. THE FLYING SPUR has contested four big-field maidens and on each occasion had more horses behind him than in front of him. He was last seen finishing sixth at Naas in December and a whole host of winners have come out of that race. Cut in the ground holds no fears for him and a rating of 105 gives him every chance of getting off the mark in this company. Quest With Speed is rated 1lb inferior to The Flying Spur which gives him claims. His fourth at 125/1 in a Punchestown maiden hurdle in January was a creditable effort. Whotookthebiscuit wouldn't be one of the brighter lights in Henry de Bromhead's stable, but she is a lightly-raced sort and a recent sixth in Limerick wasn't a bad effort.
