Formscan By John O'Riordan - A LILAC ROLLA created a very favourable impression when bolting up on her racecourse debut at Cork last month. Given that her trainer Paddy Twomey usually leaves a bit to work on, one can assume that there may be further improvement to come from the once-raced daughter of Harry Angel. Serious Notions is effectively a winner without a penalty in this race, having only lost out by a nose on her introduction at Leopardstown. While the bare form of that particular contest doesn't look the strongest, the Ger Lyons-trained filly will have benefitted from the experience. Sun Never Sets, who ran an eyecatching race on her Limerick debut, can readily be forgiven a below par effort at Bellewstown subsequently. On the form of her initial effort the Joseph O'Brien-trained filly holds strong claims.
