Formscan By Donal Murphy - NED BUNTLINE is preferred over Lord Of Lords. The Noel Meade trained gelding finished a close second behind the smart Jezki on his debut at Leopardstown in January before he easily won on his next start at Naas. Lord Of Lords on the other hand won his sole start in impressive fashion when trained by Helena Keaveney. He was subsequently purchased by Thomas Barr and is now trained by Edward O'Grady. Paddy Brennan is an interesting jockey booking and he is sure to go close. However NED BUNTLINE is preferred as his form has been boosted by the progression of Jezki while he also beat subsequent winners Piper Hill and Parramatta on his debut. The Edward Cawley trained point-to-point winner Forever Gold is given third preference. He ran well to finish fifth on his racecourse debut in a good bumper at Fairyhouse in April and then put in a decent performance on his hurdling debut to again finish fifth behind Art Of Logistics at Down Royal.
