Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - Expensive-to-follow ANTEY might be worth rowing in behind again. He’s trying to win a beginners chase for a long time at this stage, including when beaten here on the last two Thyestes Chase Days. It’s often been a tale of woe for the selection, coming to grief a few times, but he didn’t do much wrong behind Rebel Gold just over three weeks back. Champion jockey Paul Townend hasn’t been aboard the German-bred all that often. He’s up top this time and the eight-year-old might get the job done upped again to two and a half miles. Antey’s stable companion Et Dite needs to be factored in, along with Cedarwood Road, Knockmoylan, Momus and Hazran. Hopefully the last-named will have bounced back quickly after his fall at Thurles just five days ago.
