Formscan By John O'Riordan - BARROGSTOWN GIRL has shaped well enough on her two most recent starts to suggest that she is ready to add to her three previous victories. Successful at this track last July, the Jarlath Fahey-trained mare has been largely consistent in subsequent runs. Despite stepping up in grade, the five-year-old is worth siding with in a competitive affair. The booking of Ronan Whelan also catches the eye given that connections have claimed off her in recent times. Burren Song has yet to win for Ciaran Murphy, but has shown promise in a few outings. The upside is that the seven-year-old is now looking a well-handicapped horse. Junkyard Dog has to be of interest taking on his elders.
