Fresh from an excellent run in Group 1 company in the July Cup last weekend, the Tim Easterby trained gelding looks the one to beat. Last year's winner Ladies Church, who will almost certainly have been targeted at a repeat bid, arrives here in good form having easily disposed of nine rivals at Naas last time. Go Athletico is the potential fly in the ointment on his second start for trainer Ado McGuinness. The former French trained five-year-old created a favourable impression when making a winning stable debut at Cork last month. He is totally unexposed in this country so remains open to improvement.
