Formscan By Michael Graham - The forecast rain plays very much to EMILY DICKINSON's strengths. Aidan O'Brien's stayer has an excellent record on rain-softened ground as shown when winning by wide margins in a Group 3 at this track in October and on seasonal reappearance in Listed class at Navan in April. Her fourth in the Group 1 Gold Cup on fast ground at Royal Ascot was a more than respectable effort. Rosscarbery is only rated 1lb inferior to Emily Dickinson and took her scalp by a short head over this trip at Leopardstown just over a year ago. She suffered a less than clear route when last seen finishing fourth in the Group 1 Pretty Polly at this track. Emily Dickinson's stablemate, Gooloogong, is the dark horse after winning a heavy-ground maiden in Navan. He is markedly up in trip and class, but there is plenty more to come from him. In-form Okita Soushi would prefer better ground.
