Formscan By Tom Weekes - MT LEINSTER has shown smart ability in six bumper runs and looks the type to do better over jumps and can make a winning hurdles debut here. A half-brother to Nakajama Jump winner Blackstairmountain, he showed good ability without being high class in bumpers but has the size to do better over jumps and, notably, he won his bumper easily on testing ground at Ballinrobe in September 2018 suggesting he may have a preference for today's heavy ground. Easywork is one of just two measly rides Jamie Codd has had for Gigginstown House Stud in 2019 and the gelding won his bumper well at Down Royal under the top amateur at Down Royal recently. A keen-going sort, he clearly has plenty ability and should go well on jumps debut but might find the selection too strong. Eagle Moon ran twice in AQPS bumpers in his native France and having, oddly, unseated rider shortly after leaving the stalls on debut, did show plenty when second in another bumper at regional track Saumur in October 2018. He has joined top connections here and could get involved, although he will need to be smart to win. Pat's Pick was a debut bumper winner of a smart Fairyhouse bumper in April 2018 and while he is another with proven ability, his lack of a recent outing is a clear concern and could be best watched on reappearance today. Champagne Paddy has shown ability but might struggle to win this.
