Formscan By Tom Weekes - FUTURE PROOF was a useful flat performer who performed well on hurdles debut at Down Royal latest and might be able to win today. He has shown a consistent level of useful ability in his career thus far and while he never really looked likely to win on his hurdle debut run, he did run to the line and improvement can surely be expected. Lever Du Soleil's connections cleverly opted to front run when putting his experience to good use at Punchestown latest but the gelding was ultimately unlucky to fall at the second last flight, when well clear. He may have won that Punchestown race and comes here with solid claims but he did fail to win in three earlier hurdles and was also rated just in the 50s on the flat. Far Reach has shown ability but has 19L to find with the selection on Down Royal form while Ocean Voyage was useful on the flat and has some claims on hurdles debut today.
