Formscan By Eamonn Murphy - With three second placings to his name on his most recent outings, JUST A NORMAL DAY would be a deserving victor now. He hit the bulls-eye at Wexford on September 8th - that being his final start for owner Annette Daffy and trainer Danny Howard. It's been three silver medals in the interim since beginning for Dot Love. The last day at Cork Just A Normal Day soon chased the leaders, and he was fourth after the fourth. Third approaching the straight, the selection challenged from two out. He wasn't fluent at the last, and from there the eight-year-old kept on without getting to the winner, Dark Outsider, on the run-in, when going down by a length and three parts.
