The subject of plenty of market support on her initial outing, the Australia bay didn’t enjoy the most straightforward introduction and eventually finished third of 16, with no less than four subsequent winners emerging from that contest. Joseph O’Brien trains the selection, with his father Aidan and brother Donnacha also represented in this 10-runner affair. Newcomer Opaque is the Ballydoyle contender and is likely to need the run, while Donnacha’s Lady Doris, who is a half-sister to three-time Group 3 winner Realtra, looks to have strong claims after a solid debut effort at Dundalk in October. Quilieve is a half-sister to dual Grade 1 winning stable companion Quilixios and it’ll be interesting to see how she fares, while the 82-rated Nativity Square and recent Naas fifth Chick Flick are others of interest.
