Formscan By Gary Carson - A really hot looking hunters chase and a fascinating addition to this sphere in MOSSEY JOE. He looked a real star in the making a few years ago but has suffered with injuries and never really got to fulfill his potential. He was set to chase home Sir Des Champs at Punchestown last season until a very heavy fall at the last and flopped on his return in a hurdle race at Cork last August. His latest run came over fences in desperate ground at Listowel when he struggled under top-weight. That was off a mark of 151, however, on ground he hates so it would be unfair to judge him too harshly. If he returns anywhere near his best he would be a class act and could be a leading contender for Cheltenham. Last year's Cheltenham hero Salsify has twice been put in his place by Tammys Hill this season and the improving northern raider could be a big player here. Oscar Delta was sent off a short-priced favourite at Gowran last month and just lost out in a tight finish to Equus Maximus. He is 4lb better here and can be fancied to turn the tables. Wherever they finish Goonyella, who was just a head back in third at Gowran, shouldn't be far away.
