Formscan By Alan Magee - BALLYBRACK WOOD failed to score in six outings over hurdles but looks to have a brighter future over fences after making a successful start over this trip at Tramore last month. The selection was prominent throughout when justifying favouritism in that beginners event and may now have most to fear from another with a similar profile in Gustavo Goodway. The Philip Rothwell-trained gelding races from 3lb out of the handicap proper but also made an encouraging start over fences when third to Finnians Row in a 2m2f Gowran handicap and the form of that race has received a number of boosts since. Winding River bids to follow up a recent Clonmel win while Andys Flame and Sea Road Fill are others to note.
