Formscan By Donal Murphy - CAUSE OF CAUSES ran out an impressive winner of the competitive Listed Ladbroke Handicap Hurdle at Ascot last month and he looks the one to side with. He ran a cracker in the Greatwood Hurdle before that to finish third and he also finished second behind Rebel Fitz in the Galway Hurdle last August. The son of Dynaformer has been a revelation this season and he should be able to win this. Hisaabaat was the top juvenile hurdler in the country last year but he has been disappointing on his last three starts and he finished a well beaten fourth behind Jezki at Naas in November on his last start. He badly needs to recapture his best form if he is to have any chance here. Midnight Game won his last two outings and was impressive when winning at Fairyhouse in early December. He wasn't as impressive on his next start at Thurles and he may find the selection a bit too good. Pickapocketortwo (engaged at Punchestown on Saturday) is getting weight from his three rivals but he still looks up against it.
