Formscan By Donal Murphy - This looks a very weak contest and it is probably best to side with the Noel Meade trained BLISSFUL MOMENT. The 6yo son of Dynaformer ran well enough at Leopardstown last time out to suggest he is capable of winning this contest. He will be fitted with blinkers and a tongue strap for the first time and they may bring about an improvement in form. Dancers Dilemma and Another Challenge look his biggest dangers. They both have bumper wins to their names but have been disappointing so far over hurdles. The Tony Mullins trained Firstiheardofit and the Jim Dreaper trained Mr Cosmopolitan are interesting runners making their debuts. The former is a half-brother to the ill-fated Meath All Star who won four and to Age Benefit who won a bumper at Punchestown in 2009. The latter is a full-brother to World Citizen who has won twice for trainer Des McDonogh. Given the poor quality of this race it would come as no surprise if Firstiheardofit or Mr Cosmopolitan were to score first time out. A Word Apart, To The Sky and Four Kicks are the others to consider.
