Formscan By Donal Murphy - CASABLANCA LILY ran on well to finish second at Limerick recently on her hurdling debut over a trip of 2m 2f. She is stepped up to 2m 7f here and this should suit her. The Charlie Swan trained daughter of Hurricane Run won her bumper at Limerick in November and she is sure to come on from her first start over hurdles. She is getting an age and sex weight allowance which will help her cause. The Willie Mullins trained Suntiep looks her biggest danger. The 6yo French bred son of Ungaro, is out of a half-sister to Pomme Tiepy and she just got up close home to win her bumper at Limerick in November. She showed signs of greenness there and may just need this first run over hurdles. Fence Me In is an interesting runner for trainer/jockey Liz Lalor. The 7yo son of Old Vic won on his two point-to-point starts and he should give a good account of himself over a trip that will suit. Malt Gem is another who should run well after finishing second behind Kilcrea on his last start at Limerick.
